Student Mission Teams – Esperanza has provided leadership, coordination, and fund raising support for a number of high school and college mission teams. These teams have built houses, improvements to school sites, a local park, as well as assisting with medical teams and school activities. Groups including the local Interact Clubs and college students from Baylor University and Texas A&M are now functioning on their own with annual trips to Choluteca and Limon de la Cerca.
